Why are there Form 4 filings on the SEC but not on Fintel?

If the stocks aren’t exercised, we will not display them.

Is the form non-derivative, meaning exercising original stocks? If a Form 4 filing only has derivative transactions shown, Fintel will not display it. These forms disclose stock option grants, rather than actual buy/sell of the stocks themselves. Because these kinds of Form 4’s do not disclose an actual change in the stock holdings of the Insider, (just the stock options), we do not process it. As there is NO ACTUAL CHANGE this would lead to errors.

See this example from TSLA which shows exercised stock options. If the Insider had simply received more options, (meaning nothing shown in Table I), there would be no transactions to display.
